The 1550 and 1050 families are identical to their previous models (1505 and 1005, respectively) in form, fit, and function as a direct drop-in replacement.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eInternally, the recently updated design incorporates a Power Factor Corrected (PFC) input stage allowing the charger to run continuously from 85 – 264 VAC at 50 or 60Hz with a Power Factor of 0.99 or better from 10% to 100% load. Heavy input filtering reduces EMI to extremely low levels to prevent interference with nearby sensitive electronics. These units are constructed from heavy-duty extruded aluminum chassis and aluminum ventilated front and rear panels with thermostatically controlled cooling fans and all stainless steel fasteners for rugged duty.
